HOMER CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH

We are an Open and Affirming Congregation of the United Church of Christ.
Worship with us, Sundays at 10:30am

Open and Affirming (ONA) is the United Church of Christ’s (UCC) designation for congregations, campus ministries, and other bodies in the UCC which make a public covenant of welcome into their full life and ministry to persons of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions. Churches also commit to welcoming people of all descriptions. [Read More]

Sunday School is leaving the building!

April 30th is a fifth Sunday. Youth in grades K-12 of Sunday School will gather at 8 am at church before we journey into the community to offer volunteer help to our neighbors. Our volunteer projects will offer us an opportunity to worship God in action by praying with our feet! We will gather back at church at 11:30 for a simple meal and a time of conversation about our experiences. If you would like to join our Sunday School program on this adventure, please see Rachel!

If you have lawn work or other simple projects around your home which need to be done, let Rachel know. We will review each request and will try to fulfil as many as we can. We are asking for a donation of $10 for each hour of work, and all funds will go to support the Back to School PREP program.
